For those going through relationship break ups or Divorce, the money, who will live where, and childcare all has to be sorted out eventually and can prolong the agony, but life does go on.
Us... Him & Her are just two ordinary people who have first hand experience of broken relationships, divorce and loss of family life but we made it back and regained that feel good factor, confidence, belonging and sense of fun that tends to go astray when a relationship comes to an end.
This gave us the inspiration to try to help others realise that there is Life AD.
Married for over 10 years. Working away a lot and over the years meant our relationship was put under a lot of strain. We went from being the best of friends to worst of enemies! The whole process of divorce is completely destructive and, once solicitors are involved, it is very hard to go back. Our main aim was to ensure the children were not too affected by the whole experience. I think that both of us, and extended family, ensured that the kids well being came first and they seem to have come through it all well. I am now happy and I believe my ex is too. My Life AD has brought me a new partner and life has moved on! HIS stress buster: |
Married over 20yrs two grown up children, it was neither partners fault and for me it is difficult to explain or even really identify where things started to go wrong. But it did and, as a lot of people do in long term relationships, I prolonged it by trying desperately to put things right 'make it as it was'. Eventually we had to concede that if we were going to live the rest of our life in some form of happiness we had to end the relationship. I can't say it was easy or that I resurrected my life over night. What I did do was start by trying to concentrate on what was happening now and not look back, make plans for the future, ensure I had things to do, places to go, people to see - and it worked! My Life AD began! I can honestly say that my life's wonderful and I'm enjoying every minute of it. HER stress buster: |
